Sorry for creating missunderstandings:
The "Kurpflazmispel" is not better for table fruit purpose unbletted than any other medlar I tried unbletted. It is not bitter, but not sweet in this stage. If the fruits are bletted, it is a nice tasting medlar, but I could not test it in direct comparison to other cultivars, in order to tell you, if it is sweeter than others (in bletted stage!).
The Seedless is the var. Apyrena, well maybe there might be different types, but I don't think so, since I grow 3 different origins and all seems to be the same! The fruits are much smaller, but in my opinion the taste is nice and the absence of seeds is really great for fresh eating and processing...
